presented in an entertaining and skill-building format with
hands-on interaction. The
learning environment is non-threatening with the focus on the
benefits of giving and receiving respect and the reassurance of

Dining Tutorial – Conducted Over Lunch or Dinner
The well-mannered young person at the table is a joy to behold.
Understanding table graces increases the self-esteem for
the youth and allows the mental freedom for the parents “we
can take our children anywhere!”
Topics will include:

Napkin do’s and don’ts

Appropriate
table conversation

Entering/exiting
the table

Basic
table graces, e.g. not talking with food in your mouth, no
shoveling, etc.

How
to hold silverware correctly

Restaurant
manners from fine dining to fast food

Finger
food vs. the knife/fork option
-
Eating
noises to avoid, when to start eating, what to do if
something is spilled or dropped
The table etiquette seminar is designed to
be interactive, educational and fun!
Those attending will receive hands-on training before and
during the dinner and a reinforcement workbook to refer to after
the seminar.
